By downloading, installing, or using ClutterBuddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
ClutterBuddy is a personal inventory management application that allows you to organize and track your belongings by creating locations, boxes, and items. The App stores data locally on your device and optionally syncs to Google Drive if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
The App offers optional Google Sign-In for cloud sync features on Android. By signing in with Google, you authorize the App to access your Google Drive Application Data folder for the purpose of backing up and syncing your inventory data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
On iOS, the App can sync data using your device's existing iCloud account. No additional sign-in is required.
ClutterBuddy does not create or manage its own user accounts. Authentication is handled through Google Sign-In (Android) or your existing Apple ID (iOS).
You retain full ownership of all data you create in the App, including locations, boxes, items, notes, tags, and photos.
Your data is stored locally on your device by default. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.
If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in your Google Drive account (Android) or iCloud account (iOS). This data is subject to the respective platform's terms of service and storage limits. ClutterBuddy is not responsible for data loss resulting from cloud service interruptions or your account status.
The App provides local export and import functionality. Exported backup files are your responsibility to manage and secure.

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Before any advertising data is collected, the App obtains your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (in GDPR regions and regulated US states) and, on iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Based on your choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can update your ad preferences at any time from the App's Settings. Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies. ClutterBuddy is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
The App supports NFC tag writing and QR code generation for linking physical tags to your inventory. You are responsible for the physical tags you create and their placement. ClutterBuddy is not liable for any issues arising from NFC tag or QR code usage.
The ClutterBuddy application, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of its developer. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's intellectual property beyond the license to use the App as intended.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of ClutterBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
The App integrates with third-party services including Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Apple iCloud, and Google AdMob. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:
ClutterBuddy is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if these Terms are violated.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
